2011-2012 Exhibit Season
(Images shown are not necessarily in the Exhibits)

September 8 - October 19
"Beatrice Coron: Paper-Cut Stories"

Beatrice Coron, a native Frenchman whose work is held by major museums,  such as the Metropolitan Museum, The Walker Art center and The Getty, will be having a solo exhibit of her created worlds.  She is a  well known and respected book artist, papercutter, sculptor, teacher and conceptual artist who creates her artwork by cutting paper or Tyvek, a very resistant non woven material made by Dupont. She cuts from the single piece of material a profusion of individual stories in a coherent universe. These compositions include memories, associations of words, ideas and observations that unfold in improbable juxtapositions.
