The Flinn Gallery offers selected artists the opportunity to show and sell their work in a modern, high traffic exhibition space, centrally located in Greenwich, Connecticut. The gallery welcomes an average of 1500 visitors per show, and is open and staffed 48 hours a week. At all times, the gallery benefits from the high security standards of the Greenwich Library. All exhibits are fully insured.

GALLERY SPECIFICATIONS

The gallery space was designed by renowned architect Cesar Pelli. It is located on the second floor of the library at the top of a wide, floating staircase with a full height glass front wall for maximum exposure.

  • Dimensions 97’L x 22 ‘W
  • 13’ H ceiling houses a sophisticated, computerized lighting system.
  • Three (3) moveable walls, each measuring 8’H x 8’W x 4’D, one of which has an optional secured vitrine with lighting and glass shelving
  • One (1) moveable wall 8’ H x 4’ W X 4’D
  • One (1) moveable wall 8’H x 14’W x 4’D.

SELECTIONS COMMITTEE

Exhibitions are developed by the Selections Committee and Curators, and not exclusively drawn from submissions. All submissions are reviewed by the Committee from September through May. Due to the ongoing nature of the selections process, artist notification can take several months, or until the end of the current season.

NOTE: Exhibiting artists are responsible for the transportation of artwork to and from the Gallery, and for complying with designated dates for delivery and pickup of work.
